Dear Colleagues,
What a memorable celebration of SACME’s 50th Anniversary in Lexington! It was a pleasure to connect with so many of you—both in person and virtually—and to reflect on the strength and spirit of our community. We’re especially pleased that this year’s educational program, venue, and social events were so well received. As part of this milestone year, I’m delighted to share the 6th edition of the Annual Meeting Proceedings Report.
This report features the abstracts and posters selected for the 2026 program, highlighting the breadth of ideas, innovation, and scholarly work across our membership. The projects showcased here reflect a shared commitment to advancing education and improving outcomes for students, residents, and faculty. SACME remains dedicated to supporting these efforts through ongoing opportunities to build research skills and foster collaboration.
As you explore the report, I encourage you to take a moment to recognize our 2026 SACME award recipients. Their work represents excellence in research and scholarship and serves as an inspiration to us all. Please join me in congratulating them:
