Virtual Research Roundtable (VRR) – How to Conduct a Delphi Study
SACME’s mission is “To create and sustain a community of professionals that shapes the future of CPD/CE through leadership, collaboration, and scholarship”. In accordance, SACME offers a variety of educational opportunities.
Virtual Research Roundtables (VRRs) explore methods for conducting scholarship in CPD/CE. Whether an overview of qualitative research, a deep dive into Delphi studies, or tips for conducting focus groups, VRRs seek to enhance and expand our skills and capacity to answer interesting questions in our field.
For example, recently, Giuseppe Aleo, Ph.D. presented a session on “How to Conduct a Delphi Study”. Here Jessica Walter, Ed.D., MA, Chair of SACME’s Scholarship Committee, provides a brief summary of that session.
Technology-Enhanced CPD in the Post-Knowledge Era
The SACME Annual Meeting on March 23, 2026, will feature sessions on the role of generative AI in healthcare professional development and the demands of a hybrid-flexible model, alongside a thematic analysis of CME/CPD discourse from 2004 to 2025.
